Chamber Members – Committees enable you, our members, to support issues you’re passionate about while deepening your connection with other Chamber members and developing leadership skills. Ambassadors Team
An Energetic team of volunteers who make regular contact with membership to involve them in Chamber activities; provide Chamber leadership and staff with membership feedback; and participate in Chamber events, grand openings, ribbon-cutting ceremonies and other public events involving Chamber visibility. Chaired by Christine Cook of Regions Bank. Monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of the month from 8:15-9:15 AM. Want to visit the group to see if you would like to join? Business Development and Advocacy (BDAC)
Addresses issues that can have a positive influence on business and on those that can be costly and unfriendly. It provides communication channels between business and government and provides education and advocacy on priorities of the membership to the proper government body. Works in partnership with city and county representatives on business growth/retention strategies and programs supporting small business advancement. Supports the manufacturing, engineering and tech member businesses by organizing facility tours. Monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month from 8-9 AM. Women's Leadership Committee
Presents the annual Inspire Awards, Speaker Series events as well as other fundraising events throughout the year. The Women's Leadership Committee raises funds for our Education Fund which awards scholarships to selected students. Chaired by Kim Feaster of Serenity Funeral Home & Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.
